Republic Day Celebration at ABS-HBD: 2021

This year annual Republic Day Celebration at the Dr Anniebesant Special School was celebrated in the absence of our school children. Ever year this is celebrated with lots of joy, and energy by all student & their teacher. Their display of songs, dance, physical exercise, and small gaming event brings a happy smile on everyone face.

This year 2020-21, as the schools are open with limited capacity due to corona pandemic. The event was organized and attended by only limited staff members. Flag hosting was done by Dr. Vasudha Tiwari, an old time well wisher of this NGO / society and in the presence of Teaching and Admin Staff of the school.

On Republic Day every year the MP State Govt. acknowledge and facilitate all the freedom fighter, this year also Mrs. Arti Dutta was facilitated and honored by representative of Collector Office on behalf of State Govt with in the school premise only.

We are looking forward to seeing all the children coming back to the school, their presence brings loads of positive energy to all.

Basant Panchami & Republic Day Celebration 2015

This year since the Basant Panchami and Republic Day were falling on the same day. The Annie
Besant Society planned a three day events to celebrate the occasion.  from 24th January to 26th January 2015.

24th January '15 - Started with the Basant Utsav, Saraswati Puja, Havan and Prasad Distribution. And in the evening culminated with Maha Arati at 7:00 PM.

25th January '15 - On this day cultural program along with prize distribution for various event was held. Eminent guest were invited to preside our the children function and give them a moral boost.

26th January '15 - Annual Flag hosting Ceremony, followed by Cultural Programs by MR Students, and in the evening along with all the MR Students and their parents, Diya Flotation at various ghat of River Narmada.
