Dr. Annie Besant Sangeet Academy
Music training in classical singing, tabla, guitar and harmonium — open to learners with and without disabilities.
The Sangeet Academy was established in 2000 with affiliation from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. Students from nearby localities learn classical singing and instruments including tabla, guitar and harmonium.
Classes run all year, and written and practical examinations are conducted each December through Prayag Sangeet Samiti.
Many musical and cultural programmes have been held, giving students a platform to perform in front of a live audience.
